Just for your info the excerpt that you quoted on soapsuds enemas is an abstract from a nurse’s handbook.

The message on this forum: Re: Why colon walls look clean in colonoscopy?   by dophilem gives another theory on why enemas make you feel better. Soap is slightly alkaline and is in some ways similar to sodium bicarbonate.

If soapsuds enemas cause colon cancer then I am a prime cancer prospect as I have been taking soapsuds enemas since a child when my mother gave me enemas until today some 70 years later.

I find that bowel cleansing very necessary for my health and have tried many different protocols but have always returned to fasting with cleansing enemas which is most satisfactory for me. I find it less traumatic than say the Master Cleanse or taking Oxy powder for 30 days or taking Epson salts repeatedly for two weeks.

I would be interested in hearing your views on this subject. Thanks.
