Hello people,

I haven't been around for a few days and here's why.

I had been experiencing some random attacks of stabbing pains in my groin and appendix area starting around the beginning of May. They would hit while I was having a bowel movement usually, then subside after a while. Later on towards the middle of the month I had two such attacks that stayed for about an hour before going away. They were bad. I couldn't walk. But, they went away.

I had started taking IF#2 sometime in the middle of May (don't remember exactly what day), but I stopped taking both IF#1 and IF#2 on the 23rd because I noticed that along with a slight constipation, I again started developing a pain in the appendix area and increased stimulation of the bowels seemed to aggravate it. I stopped, intending to break for a while, until the pain went away.

On the 25th I pretty much stopped eating because putting more food into my stomach would bloat me and increase the appendix-area pain. By the 27th the pain was to the point were I couldn't stand up straight and had to keep my right leg bent forward. I also started feeling lightheaded/dizzy/bizarre that night.

I ended up not being able to sleep, so I went to the ER at 2AM to get checked out since I had been suspecting appendicitis and it hadn't gone away. They just did some blood and urine work, both came back fine. I refused painkillers and ended up leaving. Later that morning I followed up with a doctor who sent me back to the ER with an order for CT scan with contrast to see what was really going on. When I got to the ER, it was more blood and urine work, and 3 x-rays. The ER doctor came back and said that I was just really badly constipated, and he doubted that it was appendicitis because I hadn't been vomiting, didn't really have a fever, and my blood seemed fine. He said he wanted to avoid using the CT scan if possible because he mentioned that "It is a really large dose of radiation, and frankly, you CAN get cancer." Good doctor. I mentioned that I had been blasted by at least 5 CT scans with numerous x-rays last year and had a family history of cancer, so was glad that he felt that way. He sent me home and told me to go on a liquid diet (which was pretty much what I was already on) and drink prune juice. Come back if it didn't resolve or got worse.

I drank a quart and a half of prune juice that day and nearly nothing came out except liquid. Another half-quart the next day and several other things and still nothing. Nothing the next day either.

I went back to the ER on the 1st (this past monday), as I was still constipated and still suspected appendicitis. They did a repeat of the same x-rays and more blood and urine work. The blood and urine were both fine again, but they actually showed me the x-rays this time and yeah I am REALLY constipated. There was no change at all in the x-rays from the 28th and from the 1st. They offered to give me a CT scan or an ultrasound if I still questioned what was going on, but I declined. They gave me 10 oz of magnesium citrate to drink and sent me home on a liquid diet (again), which I was pretty much already on anyways not having eaten hardly anything in a week.

Nothing happened later that night, but I finally woke up at 4 AM with the urge to have a movement. Another failure. A little came out at first, but it was mostly dark liquid. So I went back to sleep. Later that day I was considering what to do next. I didn't want to take anymore laxatives because I was displacing too much water and I needed it, since not eating and using the laxatives made me drop weight again (I'm down to 115. I probably actually weigh around 110 with all the crap out of my system. A long shot off from 170 lbs 4 years ago, or even the 145 lbs I weighed a little over a year ago.) I didn't want to go back to the ER because I've been worried about them wanting to operate and then me waking up with a colostomy or some other horror. I ended up making an appointment for a colon hydrotherapy session the next day, even though I still had that appendix area pain and was worried about getting it done too soon after drinking that Magnesium.

So yesterday I went to have the colonic done and I think it went ok. The therapist has been doing it for over a decade, she knows about all the Conspiracy garbage, about Liver Flushing and all that, even about Curezone. I think I picked a winner. The colonic itself went ok. I saw some stuff come out - more than the laxatives had removed - but I am still blocked up some, which is what I expected. Today I had two bowel movements so far, and even though they were not well formed (just kind of mushy/crumbly) I think it is better than nothing. I still have that pain in the appendix area, although it hasn't been as bad as when I first went to the ER since drinking that prune juice. Two people have told me about knowing someone who had sharp pains in the appendix area, but it actually just being constipation. But then, that's usually what causes appendicitis in the first place, from what I've read.

I don't know how it is that I became this constipated. I was suspecting that perhaps IF#2 built up in my intestines and blocked off a good flow, as a lot of the liquid coming out of me during the laxatives was dark with little specks in it, kind of looking like the charcoal and other elements of IF#2. I also thought that perhaps the IF#1 and #2 were knocking off the mucoid plaque too quickly and chunks of it became lodged in the colon. The colonic therapist thinks it is mucoid plaque. One thing that I noticed was that because the liquid coming out of my system was really dark and blackish while using the laxatives, I had expected the colonic tube to be filled with black liquid just the same during the releases, but this was not the case at all. A lot of strange things did come out, but nothing that dark as I had expected. Perhaps that is because the darker stuff is further up in the instestines, which means that the IF#2 may have something to do with it? IF#2 and mucoid plaque combination?

I plan on going back for another colonic soon, maybe even tomorrow if this appendix pain decreases today, as I don't expect to see the bulk of the blockage/plaque to start coming out until the 3rd session or so. I'm going to do a castor oil pack 1 or more times today on my abdomen to help loosen up whatever lies within.

I've never been constipated like this my entire life, but I'm feeling optimistic about it resolving, so it's all good.

Any thoughts, opinions?
