Hi Ana, you said In hospitals, soap enemas were widly used at one time but are now thought to cause colon cancer. I've known that soapsuds enemas can be irritating when used with a clean colon, but for constipation they almost always produce the best results. This is the first I have ever heard of them being associated with colon cancer. Can you provide any references that substantiate or even discuss colon cancer in relation to soapsuds enemas?
