You are right about drinking too alkaline water. I've been reading about the Blood Type Diet and blood type A's are more likely to have low stomach acid (which contributes to stomach cancer). Two of my great grandparents drank water with baking soda every day and they both died of stomach cancer. Because of their ancestry, I'm pretty sure they were blood type A's.
