It looks like it produces what we consider "quality" juice (low rpm, single auger), but I'd NEVER 'go cheap' on a juicer that's going to have to be a workhorse, like yours will.

As telluride showed (great link, thanks telluride!), this one is reported to have a 'low yield', and that can cost you a LOT in produce weekly...it could easily be $50 weekly when juicing "full time". It would only take a few weeks to be losing serious amounts of cash for the $100 initial savings over an Omega.

As for me, I will never buy any 'major' appliance until it's been on the market for a few years. I could have saved $100 on my Excalibur food dehydrator with a brand new 'similar' model...but I just couldn't take the chance of throwing a way over $100 bucks (and then end up spending $200 on what I should have got in the first place).

Also, only a 1 year warranty on the motor? What do they know that they're not telling us? The Omega has a TEN year warranty.

Now THAT's the kind of bargain for me! (although I LOVE my Omega and would never switch...well, it's possible I'd switch, but being able to break down/clean the Omega in less than 60 seconds is HUGE when you're juicing gallons).
