She started her first 40 day fast weighing 199lbs. She now weighs 122 lbs. So it is possible. I have been fasting for 41 days, starting weight 145lbs, I currently weigh about 103 lbs. So you might very well make it to the end of a 3rd 40 day fast. Maybe chrisb1 can answer this, when is fasting to completion not an option? I have from sheldon that food before "true hunger" can do more damage than waiting it out.
