No to both your questions. What I am saying is that even the best alkaline diet will not bring ph to proper range if the person is creating too many acids by their thinking, lack of exercise etc.
Remember acids and alkalis have to be balanced too much of one or the other is detrimental.Digestion is a reaction of the hcl in your stomach with the food that enters so without that acid we would have problems. Lemon is one of the best foods for most not all; as it helps digestive processes and aids the liver in picking up calcium. Most strict vegies are lacking in calcium and B12 Also many in protein. Yes I do believe in the vegetarian way of life but it has to be stress free to conserve protein and mineral useage and much more.I do stress it has to be more than just diet it has to be the way a person lives life.
Most people don't eat a large enough variety of foods even from the food groups they use, they eat one kind of apple ,one grain, two or three veggies. We all need a big variety use all the grains, rye, oats, rice, quinoa, spelt, millet, buckwheat, etc. Try to eat30-40 different varieties of veggies, a neighbour of mine eats only 2; peas and corn every day for the past 15yrs he is missing out on the nutrients that come from a wide variety. Is the same amount of potassium in millet as in an apple?
Will post more on ph shortly.
