It's true,just give the body what it needs, and keep the poisons out. But, there are antagonistic relationships between essential nutrients also, for example, Iodine depletes lithium, etc. So one needs to first know what it is the body needs, and then develop the right habits. Some people do this inadvertently by sheer luck and live to be 110.
