I don't think he is doing this to "have fun." I have read his posts for a long time and I think he sees a serious problem with people "crash" fasting to lose weight with no concern to their long term health. For example, there was a person on here about a year or so ago who had to have surgery on her stomach from constantly fasting and then binging on junk food. I think he is doing this because he does not want to see people hurt themselves. I seriously doubt he sees this as having fun.
