Hi Melis, how are things going now, nearly a week later? You ask if it OK doing a daily enema for a week, and the answer is by all means yes. You are certainly not going to become habituated to enemas after a week.

And that's just one of many advantages the enema has over laxatives for cleansing purposes. It's just too easy to pop a pill on a daily basis than is the time it takes and the inconvenience of preparing and taking an enema.

A far lower percentage of people who use enemas periodically become addicted to them than do people who take laxatives. The laxative habit is very widespread, whereas the enema habit is not.
