...you gave me some recommendations on how to address my back pain and fatigue and I wanted to give you an update on my condition, how things things are progressing, and to see if you could suggest any tweaks or additions in light of the information I will provide. 'luv the updates (keep those cards n's letters coming :) 'Sorry about the delay in response time - I'm catchin' up as fast as my lil' fingers can type!
Let me warn you righ off the bat:
I have by no means even done all of the original things you recommended. In fact I have only done a few. This is primarily due to my lack of cash flow at the moment -- I am collecting unemployment and still paying rent on an apartment I don't even live in anymore, so money to do all of these different procedures has been limited. So I fully understand that your advice to me may just be to do all of the things you originally recommended. Nonetheless, I do think there have been some significant developments and reactions which may dictate an adjustment of the original program. I certainly understand. And being the rebel that I am, I just have to add...pay back rent on an apartment I don't live in anymore? Not this ole hippie-mama (at least, not until I got "caught up"). Of course, I understand "credit ratings" and all that. But being as 'life savvy' as I am, I also know a thing or two about how all that works...and generally there's no way a landlord can adversely affect your credit until they've turned you over to a collection agency or taken you to court...and they can't do either if you make small monthly payments consistently (and can prove why you have to make small monthly payments). It's a lose-lose for them to turn you over to a collection agency (they lose 40-50%) or incur court costs. When it comes "down to it", they really have no viable option but to accept a small monthly payment. And the collection agency can't report anything negative if you 'dispute the bill'...and that generally takes a few months worth of paperwork shuffling, before they have the right to make any credit reports. And depending upon the state, the collection agency can't report anything unless you don't meet the payment schedule you both agreed upon. Life is just TOO hard these days to not 'go for the legal loopholes'! I always pay my bills when I owe them (I'm not a 'scammer' or anything like that) - I just won't allow anybody to "push me past my means to pay" if I can help it. 'Didn't mean to get off on a rant there, but I don't like to see people not taking care of themselves because of "the system"...especially when it's not their fault :)
Anyway, specifically I have been doing the colon cleanse for about 20 days or so.Fantastic! I must say I have gotten some great benefit from this, including a purging of some habitual negative emotions, and a realization of greater calmness and well-being in my day-to-day life. Great! Coincident with this has been a feeling of just being more in touch with myself, less drawn to the surface level of things, less concerend about what the world thinks, and more in touch with what I think, and know. There's that "trinity healing" again - the state of our body TRULY affects our emotions & spirit (and our logical thought process).
All in all, my sensations and perceptions all indicate that something significant, and significantly good, is happening in response to the colon cleanse. It is a sign of true healing in my optinion when unexpected and previously unimaginable benefits arise in response to a treatment, rather than just a reduction in symptoms.Oh yes indeedy, we "know" when true healing is happening. It's great you're that in touch with your doctor within! In addition, I have known for YEARS that I needed a drug detox, however, my kidney/adrenal area has been too weak to tolerate the effects of the far infrared sauana, oxypowder, and a number of other modilities which I have tried unsuccessfully in an attempt to do this. So it is a real benefit to find a detox modality that my system can handle, and to notice all the positive effects from this that are contuining to unfold. I am noticing as I continue to take the IF #2 that I am more clear-headed, more creative, and more easily able to digest information. It is a great feeling and is exactly what I have been looking for.WOOHOO! That's fantastic. I know that I never feel better than when I'm using IF#2...everything just 'clicks along' better and smoother. And todays "alternative science/medicine" in the detox department is just dismal in their thinking (in fact, it almost seems as evil as the big Posers That Be) ...if our organs of detoxification are so compromised that they cannot process & eliminate the daily toxins (hence storing them in our soft tissue daily for weeks/months on end)...just how does it make logical sense to do something like a sauna (or juice/water fast, or chelation, etc) , and dump several WEEKS WORTH of volatile poisons into our bloodstream (when our body can't even handle the DAILY load). Not only is it illogical, it's dangerous (and it hurts our health). That's what's SO awesome about the IF#2 - not only is the charcoal & bentonite "right here" when the toxin in the colon are disturbed and released, but the adsorption action pulls toxins OUT of our bloodstream and INTO the clay/charcoal...to safely be flushed away. You'd think everybody on CZ (at least those giving advice) would know that :::sigh:::
I have also been taking the superfood (when money allows), and that has been very helpful and energizing as well. I thought I read somewhere you saying that it doesn't detox anything, but it sures feels like something is being purged when I take it, as I experience a characteristic feeling of sleepiness and lethargy for a few hours which is soon replaced by greater energy, clarity, otimism, and well-being. But, whatever. The point is, it has been/continues to be a beneficial aspect of the program for me.Generally speaking, for most folks, there's not enough of the 'detoxifying algaes and greens' to accomplish a true "detox"...but what you're describing certainly sounds like one. Methinks you & your doctor within are likely perceiving correctly.
Now, the cayenne, on the other hand, sememed to provoke a "stressed-out" feeling in my adrenal area, and left me feeling a litte out of it the day I consumed it as well as the next day. I felt like I had less energy, in addition to noticing a feeling or soreness/sensitivity in my adrenal adrea which is similiar (though not identical) to what I feel when I exert myself physically or take certain other vitamins or adidtives. I have since not taken any more and am not going to even consider it until my adrenal area feels better. And that brings me more directly to what HASN'T improved: my feeling of soreness/pain/depletion in my kidney/adrenal area. Even as these other benefits have unfolded, I continue to feel extremely depleted in my kidney/adrenals, and extremely sensitive to even the slightest physical effort. At one point I needed to carry a 7 lb bag up three flights of stairs, and that left me feeling draimed for days with an acute soreness in my adrenal/kidney area. Yesterday I drove for about an hour and a half in the car in heavy traffic and just the strain on my back left me feeling absolutely devastated when I got out of the car. I literally felt like I could barely walk, my adrenals seemed to have kicked into overdrive and I was almost compeltely unable to sleep last night due to a feeling of being over-revved but at the same time depleted and exhausted. Ahhh yes, the oh-so-brutal "wired but tired" adrenal thing (I absolutely HATE that!) I could never understand it until I experienced it...and I've experienced it HARD. The only likely reason that cayenne would bring on a reaction like that is, that when regulating the circulation it came up against a blockage...and put pressure on the blockage. You likely know that the adrenals sit atop the kidneys...anytime we stress them, we stress the adrenals (which is the #1 reason why 'detoxing' bring on such rapid 'adrenal symptoms'...throw toxins into the blood, stress the kidneys --> stress the adrenals). Whew, it sounds to me like you desperately need a kidney cleanse YESTERDAY! I'm not trying to be melodramatic - I truly believe your kidneys could be very compromised. Please start drinking several cups of parsley tea every day asap. If you have a juicer, get a watermelon and juice it WITH the rind (after you thoroughly washed the rind) and drink it all in 1/2 a day or less. I'd much prefer you get a full herbal kidney cleanse, but I fully understand 'limited finances'. :(
Of course, I have read through other messages on this forum regarding this so I took it upon myself to order some organic ashwagandha, which I began taking about a week or so ago. I can say that it has definitely helped, but I do not feel like I am even close to having the kind of stregnth or stability that would make day-to-day functioning a possibility. I basically stilll feel like an invalid given the limits on my physical movement and exertion. How much ashwagandha are you taking? You can safely take three tablespoons or more daily. There's never been an overdose or adverse reactions reported from taking ashwaganda (of course, there's always the possibility of an allergic reaction, but you would have had that already).
I plan to incorporate the charcoal and maybe the coffee enemas once I get paid later this week; however, I am slightly concerned in light of my reaction to the cayenne that the coffee enema might stress my adrenals. The charcoal is fantastic - you can safely take up to 8 tablespoons daily (start with one teaspoon in every dose of IF#1 and work up to a tablespoon if the reaction is good). The coffee enema will assist your liver to process toxins and clean your blood of free radicals for the amount of time it is retained. The only possible adverse reaction is from assimilating too much caffeine. To avoid that, do a 2 cup enema (not the typical 4 cups), and after you've expelled it thoroughly, follow it with a 4-6 cup warm water enema (needs to be retained for less than 5 minutes)
Also , do you think it is unusual that I am still experiencing so much sensitivity in this area? Everything seems to be getting better, except my adrenal kidney area. From what you've elaborated, I feel your kidneys are extremely compromised, and that activated charcoal will be very relieving (but not "curing", especially not if the kidneys are hardened by calcium deposits or stones). If you can, make a charcoal poultice (here: http://healingtools.tripod.com/char2.html) and apply it over the kidneys nightly. This will act as a "second pair of kidneys" and take a substantial burden off of them. If you do this, and the charcoal poultice or your skin become warm or hot, that's just the friction of toxins being pulled through your skin into the poultice. If you feel ANY amount of warmth, that is ample evidence of compromised kidneys. If you do NOT feel any warmth or heat, that DOES NOT MEAN that your kidneys are not compromised - it just means they're not full of toxins (but they could be full of stones or the flesh of the kidneys can become hardened/calcified). Please let me know if you experience any relief from the charcoal (orally or poultice).
Any additional advice or suggestions you could provide would be appreciated. Done.
Healthiest of blessings - take CARE OF YOURSELF!
