I will keep using this.

Isn't it curious that Tea Tree Oil is used in dentistry in other countries but it "was dropped" in America.

Regarding glycerin preventing a natural remineralization of caries, I can't believe that the Posers That Be are ignorant of this fact. Whatever you think of Weston Price, he was a big proponent of the fact that a strong and healthy dental arch is essential for normal good health.

So... I'm just curious -- because if there are other slimy substances that could be used in tooth paste instead of glycerin, then why is glycerin found in ALL toothpastes, even the so called health food store tooth paste?

Cavities begin small, as I recall, they actually start as areas where the enamel's calcium becomes weak or injured by bacterial action.

So when we talk about natural remineralizatin, we don't mean that tooth powder can miraculously cure a whopping big hole. We mean that without the glycerin slime coating, a properly compounded tooth powder can fix those beginning areas of weak or missing calcium. Maybe small holes can also be repaired. Right?

How big a hole do you think will "remineralize" if someone eliminates glycerin-based toothpaste and aids natural remineralization with properly compounced herbal tooth powder.

FYI The Japanese use something called "Denti" that was a mix of charcoalized sesame seed and salt (I think that's the way they make it). This is used in Macrobiotic circles as well. Maybe they should add some herbs!
