I do 2 cup at a time only. So, there's no retaining problem for me either. I tried 4 cup once, got a caffeine buzz afterwards, never again.... I'm not sure if there's any benefit beyond 4 cup if the goal is to hit the hepatic portal veins located at the sigmoid colon....??? -tie
