The problem with those links is the kelp is for animal feed and/or fertilizer and is not the same quality that humans would consume.
Where you suggest everyone buy their kelp is http://www.seaveg.com,
which sells kelp for human consumption, that is more processed/and or better quality than that of animal feed and thus lower in sodium and higher in potassium.
