Ashwagandha both supports the adrenals, which can help the thyroid, and it helps with T4 to T3 conversion. So I doubt if the ashwagandha is the problem.

As far as your listed symptoms they can have other causes outside thyroid dysfunction. Have you checked your basal body temperature to make sure you are hypo? Instructions can be found on the net.
