I leave out the residue. I let it settle, then strain the whole limewater mix in a coffee filter carefully leaving the undisolved residue behind.

I use one T limewater per drink, along with about a T of squeezed lemon juice. few granules of ES per drink. little pinch of kelp and T of BSM. Mixed with filtered water. It tastes great like this and I like the effect, my kids also like it, so no trouble getting them to drink it!
