From what I have read - the ES is not a flush the ES clears things out of the intestines and opens up the bile ducts - at least that is how I understand it based on readings on this site. The OIL (fat) is what creates the release of bile and thus the Flush. Avoid Fats and Proteins while in any pain and try the ES - that is what I would do if I was in pain from a flush - listen to your inner voice and do what makes the most sense to you.
