Several of the drawbacks of the MSAS Biomeridian type testing--is that it does make a difference how much the practitioner knows, and what is programmed into the computer.

The Biomeridian testing, uses accupuncture points. It's like he has told me--if I would like to know if I have something specific going on- if he just tests for that in, say, the liver point- it might not show up as a problem for that point--but that doesn't mean it's not a problem in another area of the body.

It sounds like it's the same type of testing that Wen's accupuncturist uses..but the accupuncture points hasn't been the way my practitioner has found alot of the specific's I've asked him to look for. The biomeridian machine also imprints the homeopathics, and can imprint a test vial for muscle testing for the specific things. When he's done that, and then used the test vial to muscle test me with (using different muscle testing techniques too)- it then shows if that is something going on anyplace in the body.

He also told me that when he first got his machine, that it took alot of time, and practice using it- and it sounds like they program into it what would best "treat" the conditions that do show up. He has alot of different homeopathic companies/formulas that are programmed into his, but also companies like Standard Process..I can't remember what other's he has.

A poster from the Lyme forum, was calling around to see if someone in her area does the biofeedback computer testing, and found a practitioner that does what sounds like the same machine--but the only supplement they have on it is Standard Process. That would never work for what we've found with the Lyme co-infections, and toxins (chemicals, radiation, herbicides/pesticides).

We don't always go through "all points" to see what comes up as the highest priorities, and how stressed each individual point it, and what the causes are that are stressing them--but you are right, it is time consuming, and slow.

With the accupuncture points too- it helps that my practitioner is licensed in accupuncture and knows the points and meridians.

But then...your machine is for "relaxation" only. :)

Maybe we can start paying your way to fly around the country and "relax" us :)
