aw Kara, I am sorry....
Brain fog, yes-I liken it to disconnect or being stoned. nothing like when mirena was in, but still constantly fuzzy.
No heart palps since the evil one was taken out.
yes, I used the progesterone cream for a couple of months. I also took and still take the vitex. I have to say, hormonally I feel much better. No more hot flashes or night sweats-I think it has been a month!
right now, my biggest problem is the fatigue. (and the damn alopecia!) some of my other symptoms are still lingering but overall, much better.
I do think most of my lingering problems are related to Antibiotics . I have always blamed the zoloft as the beginning of the end for me. My GP coerced me into it for my anxiety (the mirena rage) and even though I disagreed it was depression-I caved and took it. Sent me into a tailspin. What didnt occur to me until yesterday, was the Antibiotic association. A couple of weeks after the zoloft fiasco, he prescribed me zithromax for bronchitis. I confirmed this b/c I have all my records. I also confirmed with my nutritionist that last September, when I completely fell apart again (with the fatigue/lethargy)was the same exact time I was given Antibiotics for my teeth. Now, moving to this april-my periodontist gave me arestin (under protest-but again, I caved-why why why dont I learn!). Up to this point (right before the 4 month crash) I was doing GREAT! I have had no energy since then. I have been given Antibiotics 2 other times in the last couple years (that I can remember) but I cant associated any specific reaction to them...but thats a lot of antibiotics (and the reason I protested the last time-guess I was right!)
My nutritionist-great guy-is all excited about looking further into the candida/dysmosis, but I am also looking at other ways antibiotics can hurt us. I want to make sure I am not missing anything, but I did add in the kefir, because it makes sense. I imagine mainstream medicine wont recognize candida until they formulate a pill to treat it, lol.
I "think" cutting out gluten made a difference this week, and where the heck else could this yeast infection come from? there is definitely a connection. I have an appt next week-I am going to request testing for gluten antibodies. (amongst other things :)
I found this link. good read if for nothing else, about how the docs/reps are corrupt. these are not the Antibiotic I took, but the side effects are familiar...

Have you been on any antibiotics? Have you tried eliminating Sugar and gluten? (sugar especially feeds the candida-per my nutritionist)
It sounds like the vitex and cream might be worth a shot-hveragerthi recommends yam cream over the progesterone- probably safer but less effective-but I cant say one way or the other cause I don't think I need either at this point. Only used a little of the yam cream.
I am sending you an *ENORMOUS HUG* you will figure it out! Hang in there.....
god....sorry all for the rambling long post........
