Possibly, I do remember a friend who stopped smoking needed to use Allergy pills for quite some time afterwards.
The issue is that a lot of these things once again only hide immune reaction to a disease that keeps going unless treated.

My best guess is that if you stop puffing and went to see your quack you would be diagnosed with auto-immune issues...wonder how much of that is a combo of Lyme and TB?
