Often the best way to find a good therapist is by word of mouth. Ask at health food and vitamin stores if they know of anyone nearby. Some therapists don't advertise but depend on referrels from their clients and alternative health care providers.
Sometimes professional massage therapists can refer you to a colon therapist, and you can also try any doctor or chiropractor who advertises holistic or natural health care.
Also, if there is a local newspaper or even a free advertising periodical for your area they sometimes have listings for colonics.
And don't forget the web. I grew up in SE PA but one of my mother's uncles had a farm near Greensburg and I remember there was an RN there doing colonics years ago. I searched Google for colonics near greensburg pa and there is one in Elizabeth that uses a state-of-the-art closed system that looked promising.
Which direction are you from downtown? North side, Southside or East. (If you are in Ohio, forget it - there are very few colon therapists in the entire state). I've sent out some emails to friends in the business and will get back to you if I get a good reference.
Good luck in your search, a good colonic therapist is worth waiting for!
Valerie
