When I have fasted in the past, if my fast happened to span over ovulation, I have noted that the normal cervical fluids increased. This actually seems like a very good and healthy sign to me; increased fluids at ovulation is a sign of greater bodily health overall and increased fertility.

Didn't one of the books Chrisb1 recommended note that fasting was often used to correct difficulty concieving? If that's the case, then it makes perfect sense.
