"Collect your paycheck and try to put it behind you. Pretend that the parking thing was just a temporary perk at best so that you can wrap your brain around that and it won't cause you to be bitter. Think how it would have been should you had been the long time employee and then a new young thing comes in and takes you parking place. If that had been so, I would have written something entirely different."
