A couple of years ago a Cancer Dietician told me that if you eat broccolli when GREEN it FIGHTS CANCER BUT if you use it when it has just started to go YELLOW - IT CAN CAUSE CANCER....!! She also said if you can only afford to buy one organic product - BUY ORGANIC CARROTS! I have bought them ever since and they keep much better in the fridge. I have not thrown one away since I started buying them.
