She handled the "negative comments" well. So that's not a bad thing.

She stuck up for her husband, and was upset at the idea of cheating. So even the negative comments have their place in the process of elimination.

I think it's how she feels about herself that makes her hold back.

Most women lose a little of that tight body when they have a child.
