You seem to be getting real far away from the claim being challenged. Again, how can the water be that acidic when there is so much calcium carbonate buffer in the water? That is like saying that water full of calcium carbonate will become acidic if I add a few drops of vinegar. How long do you think it takes to dissolve coral in an acidic environment? Wouldn't the coral show signs of dissolving in the acidic environment like pitting and thinning that was not present?
