I also live on Toronto and we have some very good and very cheap holistic dentists here.

They follow the Huggins protocol on almost everything. And they cost $100-300 per filling, which is exceptionally cheaper than Huggins himself.

However, I will probably find myself in the Huggins clinic. He's the #1 worldwide expert on this and I don't feel like further screwing up my life. I'm still trying to decide.

If you want the name of the Toronto dentist I can give it to you. Imo he checks out fairly well since I grilled him with a lot of questions this past weekend.

And I agree with the posters above, cheaper isn't always better. Removing them the wrong way can make things worse, especially if you feel they were the culprit in the first place.
