I am concerned about bromine in seaweed displacing iodine at the thyroid receptors. Some people think that if a seaweed contains enough bromine, it can actually suppress thyroid function. Anyone know where i can get info about iodine:bromine ratios for certain varieties of kelp and other seaweeds?
