Hello Jasony,
It goes without saying that you have to follow the instructions...
I believe that you can't receive EPA registration without proving toxicology safety and efficacy, so I don't think the health effects are a major concern.
In addition, there are no claims that chlorine dioxide is a detergent that removes mold and mildew. Chlorine dioxide gas simply kills mold and mildew.
Chlorine dioxide gas also does not repair the water source that causes the mold and mildew to grow in the first place. You have to identify and repair the problem, then the chlorine dioxide gas will kill off any remaining mold and mildew that remains in the inaccessible nooks and crannies left after a thorough cleaning.
As a professional you should be aware of the penetrating ability of chlorine dioxide gas, and its efficacy in killing mold and mildew. It is a very safe and effective tool to use as part of the total process of controlling mold and mildew.
It does not repair damage, and does not dehumidify the air, and does not scrub surfaces clear of mold and mildew. It simply kills it. Once you have it scrubbed clear, it is very effective in keeping it from growing again.
