Metal taste in mouth is definitely your body eliminating toxins and staying on the fast would be beneficial, to be sure.

However, if you also get a sense of dramatic weakness, tiredness, mental clarity, or the smell of fingernail polish remover, stop the fast...those are signs of a serious condition.
