Hi Steve,

We must think alike, because although I haven't bothered with translating the bible, I have done a lot of research on how it was translated, and came to the conclusion that it was just not worth it (for me, of course) to take it literally. I used to be a Christian, but am no longer. Rather, I am spiritual. I don't condemn it, or any religion, for that matter. Religion is just not for me.

"But I still have a long long way to go. I think as I get physically fit and healthy, I will see things in a different perspective. That's what's next on my agenda anyway."

I can definitely relate to that, and I really find that being on this fast has allowed me the down-time to put some thought and doing some planning, so that I can continue to live a healthy lifestyle, post-fast. I've found that usually, a person really learns the bulk of changing his/her attitude toward eating gradually over a fast. However for me, I had an epiphany prior to fasting that led me to embark on this fast. My attitude changed drastically on day 1, so I find it exciting and interesting to see that my attitude keeps slowly evolving. More and more each day, I am excited and motivated by a healthy lifestyle, and it feels great! I believe these changes are permanent. :-)

But back to analysing and learning, I think these things are invaluable! Keep it up, and never stop! I know I don't even really have to say that to you though. You know exactly what I mean.

Peace,

estugrrl
