Wen, if you want a better idea of how your liver is detoxing, or not, you might ask your Dr for the Liver Detox Profile test. It's done at home, with a kit provided by an ND type Dr, and you send it off to the lab yourself. It will show how your phase 1 and phase 2 pathways are working to detoxify. Mine was done through Metametrix. Cutler has quite a lot about the liver detox pathways in his book.
