With no finger pointing, I will simply say that if we take personal responsibility for our health, then the legal drug industry would not be the monster that it is:

The demand for legal drugs is fueled by the consumer dollars.
Much like the fact that the organic industry has grown because of the consumer dollar, the unwanted ugly things in our world (not mentioning any names here, but their initials are Big Pharma) would not be as out of control as they are.

As with anything, if we will all do our part and take personal responsibility then we can make a huge difference.
