Even though you may see some phytochemical structures that do not have one or more "parts" such as oxygen in the case of diindolylmethane (DIM), oxygen is required for the metabolic creation of DIM... remember, these things develop, evolve and are then expended within living systems and are in a constant state of flux phasing through both organic and inorganic forms, and back again.
