About 3 and 1/2 weeks ago I decided I had to take drastic measures to heal myself or I might get too far gone to ever get well. I was eating junk food every night and looking like World War II was fought on my face when I woke up in the morning. I have been suffering with hypothyroid, adrenal fatigue, depression/anxiety, a pulled muscle that doesn't heal, being out of work and fast approaching not being able to buy food much less pay rent. This last issue brought on a panic attack, and I believe this experience motivated me to decide to change.
So at that time I gave up Sugar and junk. Then I discovered Uny. She was here but I hadn't found curezone til six months ago and only used it sporadically, as I was somewhat discouraged with all the conflicting information. Also, don't you hate it when you read an interesting post, write a response or question, only to realize that that post was written seven months ago and the forum has no activity? I know that won't happen here at Natural Healing. Also, while there is value in other forums and some of the moderators have alot to offer, I am most drawn to the philosophy and simplicity of Natural Healing and of its moderator-Uny. I believe nature is best and that nobody really knows what various chemicals or even nutrients do in the body, when they are taken in isolated form as opposed to in the form of food or herb.
So I stopped doing some of the things that were hurting me. Some others, such as negative thinking will take time to resolve but I'm working on those. Then I began taking IF#1, juicing once or twice a day. Gradually added cayenne and some adrenal tincture from Uny. Hummingbird Sage said hot/cold showers were essential in her post describing how much progress she was making so I added that. I have seven or eight days in a row of those and yesterday for the first time I did two in one day. I can tell you these are incredible! Most days I didn't want to do it but afterwards always felt glad I did and better for it. I can tell you it gets easier each day to do it, and I have a low body temperature that makes me adverse to cold! But the experience builds vitality and probably speeds metabolism. Doing these makes me feel I will be able to start swimming in the ocean soon, something I haven't done in a few years. Hot/cold showers are simple and free and enormously beneficial.
I have lost alot of weight in just over 3 weeks, and feeling more positive. I had some positive feelings and better outlook than I had for several months. I have also had some down days and been struggling with low energy, but when I have good feelings it motivates me to keep going with the program and I look forward to those good days being more frequent. I can say that one day my adrenals were weak and I felt very discouraged, thinking I may never make it and that it might be better to just die--because I can't stand the thought of a life without energy or vitality. This was after I had had my best day in a while, the previous day. But feeling better made me do more activity and since my adrenals are still weak I crashed the next day and felt terrible. This caused me to feel very bad emotionally and mentally. Fortunately I was able to remember the laughter and good feelings of the previous day and I decided that maybe the crash was only temporary, which enabled me to stay the course and hope for the best. After two days of very low energy I did begin to feel better. I am not as good as I was on my one good day but I stay the course.
Now my question: I was going to begin juice fasting today and also begin both the kidney cleanse and taking IF#2. When I read Uny's response to the 48 yr. old man(sorry, forget the name) who is beginning and talking of the first 30 days, Uny seemed to be saying its best to do the two intestinal formulas BEFORE beginning the juice fasting? I know we take IF#1 all the time, except for those who don't need it to achieve 2-3 consistent bowel movements a day(3 is better), but I thought it was best to do IF#2 along with juice fasting? I also believe I'm clear that its best to cleanse, such as liver or kidney, while juice fasting, as it works more effectively. So my question is to clarify about the IF#2.
Also, I can't afford all the materials right now to do what I need, but I can juice fast, already have kidney cleanse for one week, IF#2, etc. I can begin coffee enemas soon(I am already doing high enemas every other day)and also the castor oil packs, just will have to delay slightly the liver cleanse. So for now I planned to juice fast and take IF# 2 five or six times a day. I stopped taking medrol yesterday, after weaning off it for two weeks. I am taking some risk but believe this will be ok, as I only took 4mg for one week then cut to 3mg for one week and 2mg for the last week. I take adrenal tincture and some siberian ginseng I had and also ashwaganda, and will concentrate on sleeping early at night. Also yesterday I spent time at the beach, and find the ocean to be very healing and good for my adrenals, with the negative ions, etc.
So besides my main question about the IF#2, are there other suggestions or things I should tweak? Also, what is best for my calf muscle which I pulled on a hike almost THREE months ago and stubbornly won't heal. I thought I was pain free and then after some walking it got tight and sore again. Is Uny's deep tissue oil the thing to try, and any other suggestions?
The only thing I currently take except for natural healing herbs is armour thyroid, one grain, for hypothyroid. I won't take any IF#2 close to this.
Thanks to all here, both those who guide others and those who seek help. I learn a great deal from the questions and afflictions of others, not just from my own. I highly recommend that those seeking help read a good variety of posts here, for the education. Also, Uny and Wings provide many fascinating links. By the way, I hope everyone has seen the incrediblyy inspiring video on youtube of Susan Boyle. If not, be sure and google her; she is a simple woman whose life has already been turned around. I just hope she stays true to herself and finds real happiness.
