If you track the flights that are passing over ohare, not to be confused with arrivals and departures, on the days that the contrail tracker predicts their formation. You'll be able to predict and identify, precisely which aircraft is making the persistant contrail.

The arrivals and departures generally fly at too low an altidude to make persistant contrails.
