Hello Carlosronk,
give or take a day or two this is what the medical profession actually thought: without any form of nourishment the heart would collapse and the body waste away after a relatively short time frame of say 5 to 10 days. They didn't give any specifics so maybe I was exaggerating a little.

The medical profession has not recognized that the body is discerning in what it lives from during periods of abstinence, as they have believed that the vital organs are affected from the outset as a form of nourishment for the body.
However, Hygienists knew that the process of autolysis is very selective by consuming the least vital elements as fuel as a first choice: this includes fats, morbid exudates, toxins, and so on in an economic effort by the body in prolonging life, while simultaneously preserving and healing the vital organs.

The symptoms you have posted on are indicative of the end of the cleansing process: clearing tongue, sweet breath, clear eyes and so on, and where the only reliable guide as to the demarcation point between the end of a complete fast and the onset of starvation is the "genuine return of hunger" where there is an insatiable demand for food.

Everyone has sufficient food reserves to fast, and where even an underweight person could fast for up to 20 days and more in ideal circumstances; Dr H M Shelton was often amazed at just how long underweight people could safely go without food and receive only benefit therefrom.

However, I would NEVER advise an underweight person to do so without qualified supervision.

Blood samples and other tests can be done to ensure adequate electrolyte levels which towards the end of a prolonged fast can be on the low side and present a potential danger to health.

It would be a wise decision I think to look at and investigate the possible causes of your fatigue/ Depression and to make sure you are in a relatively good state of health before considering a fast that should (ideally) be supervised.

A 7 day fast should be conducted with the maximum amount of rest (given what you have told me about your current state of health) and where you will easily have sufficient food reserves to last for that time frame and more.

One indication that you are not suffering from the effects of Vitamin C Deficiency is: do you suffer from scurvy?
If not, it is unlikely that you have any other deficiency, and where a short fast of 7 days should not present any problems but only benefit.

Regards

Chrisb1.
