I would advise any one to go online and get info regarding fish oil and ADD. It is good for children and adults. There are test that have been done on chidren and adults but it was said that it helped the children even when taken with their meds. This is not a subsitute for the ADD meds but it is something that can be taken as a supplement. The fat in the fish oil helps balance the brain, some people who take meds for ADD they were known to have side effects that were not good. But please do research first.
