I'm really excited about your decision to include raw kale into your diet using the green smoothie method! You will love your vita mix as it will pave an easy palatable path to optimal nutrition. OH I wanted to say that you might want to check for a vita mix on craigslist, or you may even want to create your own post under wanted items requesting to purchase someone's vita mix.
