Atlantis consumed itself with ego and not being intelligent about their energetic dealings. They loved abominations as well and they were sunk into the sea. They shipped people out as the city was being destroyed. What I'm unclear on is whether or not they chose to destroy themselves or were destroyed by God. Same thing, I suppose. Either way, balance was found.
