Yes you do have a good point. I mean if I didnt have candida I probably would not be so deficient in magnesium so of course it makes sense to treat the candida. I really cant say I have noticed the magnesium is increasing my candida but then I am not better so I got to thinking its possible. However so many symptoms have improved since taking magnesium oil spray (soaks through the skin). I was so weak I could hardly walk around, I couldnt sleep - infact I did a post a while back on the things that had improved for me since taking magnesium (it was a long list!). Sorry to hear about your depression. I know it can be linked to mag. deficiency but it can also be a result of poor liver function, adrenal fatigue and candida itself. What I was meaning when I said we need to be addressing the underlying cause of candida is candida is apparantly just a symptom. For me I believe its a symptom linked to my poor liver function/toxic liver, waste seems to build up in my body and candida lives off the waste. I also dont deal stress all that well (weak adrenals) so that combination seems to promote candida growth. I realise now I have to manage my stress levels better, support my adrenals and my liver. I am sorry if you thought I was challenging you. I wasnt at all - I just get so frustrated with the whole thing because sometimes dont you get the feeling you cant do right for doing wrong! Hope you recover your health soon.
