Dutchmom- My MD found lesions and "black holes" on the MRI which led to the conclusion that I have had it for a couple of years. He said it was so obvious that a spinal tap is not warranted for confirmation. I will keep you posted as I am going back in 2 weeks. Do you know which medication you friend is taking? Apparently there area a couple of choices.
