A heart that has needed you to go to the emergency room is nothing to mess around with! And since the JAMA admitted in 2000 (through the statistics, that can be found here: http://www.cancure.org/medical_errors.htm) that doctors, pharmaceuticals -taken correctly- and hospitals are the THIRD LEADING CAUSE OF DEATH in the USA, methinks you want to avoid them at all costs! A 'mouth burn' for a few seconds is NOT the thing about which it makes sense to be concerned. Besides, you will easily and quickly build up a tolerance to your daily doses of cayenne.
Dr. Schulze and Dr. Christopher had every patient on 3 Tablespoons of Cayenne Powder daily - we have to work up to that amount - starting with 1/8 teaspoon daily (for most) and upping the dose by an 1/8 of teaspoon every few days. I'm sure that virtually every person was just as scared/worried about 'the burn' as we all are. Here's a "Pepper Primer" on how to start (with Powder OR Tincture):

With the tincture, I have NEVER met someone that would/could "work up to" the therapeutic dose of 2 droppersful...like it says in the above link, it's "liquid fire" whether it's one drop or 60 drops. Take the small dose, and you'll SWEAR you'll never be able to work up to the full dose. Start with the full dose (it's really no hotter than a small dose) and within 3-4 days it will start to subside, and after a week of 3 doses a day, it's not much of an issue at all (and you'll be encouraging the other newbies!)
I know, I know, in one of the 'cayenne files' I sent you, Dr. Schulze mentions 'starting slowly' - hey, if you were Dr. Schulzes patient, he personally would have ensured you were taking what you needed as fast as you needed it (even if he had to told hold you down to squirt in your mouth himself! lol). And if he'd have known you'd been to the ER 3x yearly, your dose of tincture likely would have been MUCH higher than 2 droppersful 3x daily. He has his 'test subjects' on the SYL videos eating African Bird Peppers whole. Rocky53 n' me gave that a try - 'twas not something I'd suggest for newbies (lol). Anybody can quickly learn to tolerate 2 droppersful of Cayenne tincture mixed with a 'gulps worth' of water or juice. Anybody that has life-threatening heart issues that sends them to the horrorspital 3x yearly really does need to!

The hottest one we make? Oh dear me, I don't think you want that at all if you've never taken cayenne and are talking about starting with "a drop"! I don't think you want to start with the strongest cayenne tincture we have - it is brutally hot (we could barely stand it when we taste tested it), and the only reason we made it was for people that are known as "pepper heads"...and very experienced ones at that.
Cayenne #1 Tincture is the 'least hot' we have, and it's as strong or stronger than Schulzes. I've used it to stop heart arhythmias and bleeding MANY times. How about I send you that, and a 1/2 ounce sample bottle of Cayenne Tincture #2 (for when you're brave enough to try it?). Also, you really need to start taking Hawthorn Berry as soon as you can - Cayenne will regulate circulation and stop palpitations or arrhythmias for as long as it's in your blood stream, but I'm sure you want to heal & strengthen your heart. The Hawthorn doesn't have an immediate effect like Cayenne, but over a month or so, you'll find yourself needing the Cayenne less and less (although we all should be taking the powder daily whether we have heart issues or not - with the lack of oxygen in our environment, our sludgy blood, and lack of physical activity, it's just something we need).

If it were me (or Rocky53) with your heart-symptoms, I'd be ordering a 4oz Cayenne #1 Tincture; a 4oz Hawthorn Berry Tincture; a 4oz Cayenne Powder - and asking me for a sample of Cayenne #2 in a 1/2 ounce bottle. And if you'd like me to give you 2-3 empty 1/2 oz bottles (so you can put some of the Cayenne Tincture in your purse, car, and where you work, then all you have to do is ask :).
