DHEA/KETO-7 is an over-the-counter adrenal hormone, the most plentiful substance in the body besides sodium and water. When the adrenals are depleted from stress, and that includes stimulants like sugar, caffeine, nicotine and even loud noises, the adrenals cannot function. Emotional resilience is lost, and there is shallow breathing, anxiety and heart fluttering, cold hands and feet and emotional upset.

Men can tolerate 20mg of DHEA as needed. Women do best with the KETO-7 form of DHEA as it will not turn into other hormones, like testosterone that can lower the voice.
