I forgot another reason why I mentioned lunch; our daughter can't join us because she's at school. Soooo, it's like a "mini-date" every day...AND...she isn't tempted by all the gluten to be had.

Hubby was also able to see that she cannot handle the gluten he was allowing her to have. MAJOR breakout of Dermatitis Herpetiformus on her (previously) beautifully-clear-skinned face. 8^(

Unbelievable break-out. wow

I'm glad it happened, though, in a way. It taught him just this week that whereas HE can go in that direction and be okay, WE simply cannot...not yet, anyway.

He's learning acceptance, too.

I felt really bad for my daughter, though. Her break-out was so incredibly bad that "ALL the kids noticed it, Mom!"

I wanted to tell her, "My God, who WOULDN'T notice it?" (I didn't say it.) She wouldn't let me take her picture, let's put it that way. It's finally starting to clear up, though. Thank God we know what to do. I told her we'll have to be even MORE strict, now...sigh. Poor kid.
