I had severe acne that was on my arms and back and tried all kinds of acne treatments using over the counter products with little success, my skin would dry out but then an outbreak would start again. I finally found out trough various doctors and a series of tests that my body was reacting to white rice and certain starches, since I have eliminated these things have gotten better and after several months my acne has subsided s, so yes can be a factor with Acne.
