Hi mertle,

As a follow-up, I received a reply in the iodine forum with regard to iodine helping with regard to body odor.  Although diet is of primary importance (actually it is in everything), iodine supplementation does, in fact, play a very important part.  It's all about keeping those toxins at bay.
