Yes, you can have it removed and there are no noticable changes to your body functions after. Is the other kidney in good shape? It will grow bigger after the left one is removed.A human can live on only half of one kidney.Is you BP high? have you tried a kidney cleanse?? I had one kidney removed in Dec 1999. Please be aware that it is a major operation and you will need to rest for up to three months. Can I ask why you have had four operations with no improvement?
