life has exited for over three billion years.There are many examples of species that are very similar , some sharing 99% of their DNA. One species becomes two when they can no longer reproduce , due to geographic isolation , subsequent mutations and other factors. Are you suggesting that some members of any given species have never changed such that they can no longer mate?
