Nuts tend to be moldy and should be eaten fresh - cooking them in the oven with a dash of salt helps to assure they will be mold free.
Brazil nut and almonds (watch for molds) are my favorite, I cant stand cachews (might be due to personal intolerance or tendency to accumulate more, I do not know the answer. Here is the recipe for an almond bread on the candida diet: //www.curezone.org/blogs/fm.asp?i=1092639
Almond butter is fantastic on rice cakes for breakfast. (So are sunflower seeds /pumpkin seeds butter)
Nuts are a good source of zinc and selenium. I try to eat a few brazil nuts on a daily basis.
If you suffer from poor digestion, you will struggle to digest them. Here is a good advice as well as the recipe to make nut milk: //www.curezone.org/blogs/fm.asp?i=976137
Yummy!
